Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-25

Impact Connect is a licensed productivity tool that helps our clients manage their own LinkedIn outreach (finding people, drafting comments and messages, scheduling posts) from their Impact Connect dashboard. This policy explains what the extension and userscript do with data.

1. Who this is for

Impact Connect is provided only to licensed clients of Impact Innovation Hub. It is not a consumer product. A valid licence key is required for it to do anything.

2. What the software accesses

The extension / userscript runs only on:

  • linkedin.com — to read the LinkedIn pages you are viewing while signed in to your own LinkedIn account, and to help you act on them (open a profile, draft a comment or message, queue a post). It acts as you, in your own browser, at a human pace. It does not log in for you and does not store your LinkedIn password.
  • your Impact Connect dashboard (connect.impactinnovationhub.com) — to know which task you selected and to show results.

It does not run on any other website.

3. What data is sent to our server

When you use a feature, the relevant content is sent over HTTPS to our processing server (n8n.fisolutionz.com) and stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) under your client account:

  • the public profile / post information you chose to collect (name, headline, public profile URL, post text and public engagement counts);
  • drafts and messages you asked the tool to prepare or send;
  • your licence key, so we can confirm your subscription is active;
  • basic usage counts (e.g. invites today) to enforce safe daily limits.

We send this data only to our own server. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

4. What is stored in your browser

A small amount of local data is kept in the extension's storage: your licence key, your selected task, and your settings. This stays in your browser and is used to make the tool work.

5. What we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect your LinkedIn password or log in on your behalf.
  • We do not read pages on websites other than LinkedIn and your dashboard.
  • We do not track your general browsing.
  • We do not use the data for advertising or resale.

6. Who can see your data

Only you and the administrators of your own client organisation (through the dashboard), plus Impact Innovation Hub staff who operate the service. Data is separated per client account.

7. Data processors we use

  • Supabase — database hosting.
  • n8n (self-hosted at n8n.fisolutionz.com) — workflow / processing.
  • OpenAI — to generate the drafts you request (the text you ask us to draft is sent to the AI model to produce the draft).

8. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your subscription is active. To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at the address below; we will action it within 30 days.

9. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Secrets (API keys, client secrets) are held only on our server and are never placed in the extension or userscript code.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and licensed clients will be notified through the dashboard.

11. Single purpose

Impact Connect has a single purpose: to help a licensed user manage their own LinkedIn outreach from their Impact Connect dashboard. All permissions requested are used only for that purpose.
